DIRECTIONS:
To create the base of this mini album, take a sheet of paper that measures 4 x 10.5 inches. Score on the 10.5-inch side at 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, and 7.5 inches. Fold and crease along all score lines.
To create the accordion pages for this mini album, take a sheet of paper the measures 3.75 x 10.75 inches. Score on the 10.75-inch side at 2.5, 2.75, 5.25, 5.5, 8, and 8.25 inches. Fold and crease along all of the score lines and accordion fold the paper into pages.
Adhere the accordion pages to the inside center of the album base using a strong adhesive.
To make this mini album look like a suitcase, adds faux straps, buckles, and a handle.
• The faux straps should measure ½ x 10.75 inches. Adhere these straps to the back of the album base. Do not add adhesive to the front flap of the album base; this will give the straps a more realistic look by allowing them to move freely.
• To create the buckles, use strips of paper that measure ½ x 1.25 inches. Adhere them to the front flap of the album, over the top of the straps, using foam tape.
• To create the handle, take a strip of paper that measures 1 x 5 inches and score on the 5-inch side on both ends at ¾ inch. Fold up on this score line and then adhere the structure to the top gusset of the album base to create a handle.
Use a Velcro dot or a craft magnet to keep the album closed.
After that, add memories, photos, and a bunch of fun embellishments!

TIPS OR ADVICE:
Use double sided paper so both the outside and inside of the album base are patterned.
Use a strong adhesive when adding the straps and handle since they are interactive pieces.
Use the accordion fold pages in both a horizontal and vertical format in order to document photos of any layout.
