Shenandoah National Park - Skyland Drive; Big Meadows and Skyland Lodge. October 18, 2022

We used the Rockfish Gap (South) Entrance Station. It was sunny blue sky but it was cold and windy. We stopped by Big Meadows for lunch (One hour wait) lots of people even though we visited in the middle of the week. Food was pricey but good. We went to the Blackrock Trailhead. The view was worth it. We spent the night in Skyland Lodge Resort. We had the Winship building Room 90. The view was good, bed comfortable but they really need their bathroom updated badly. For one night we paid $263.60 for one night 2 Queen Bed. We ate at the restaurant, their Signature Blackberry Ice Cream Pie was very good. All in all, it was a wonderful trip with our niece Meg.
