ABS Light and Traction Control Off Indicator - 2004 Chevy Implala
In this video, we resolve the ABS and traction control problems on a 2004 Chevy Impala. The wiring problem found on this car is a very common problem on Chevrolets from around this time period. Always troubleshoot, don't just start swapping parts. It can potentially save you a lot of time, money, and unnecessary effort. When you see the part where I take apart the ABS computer plug, just ignore it. It is too tricky and unnecessary. The wire appears to fail further down in the wiring harness. From what I saw of the fasteners in the computer plug, there is just too much risk of messing it up permanently.
