The Forge Nornir Chest Solution | God of War Ragnarok (Draupnir Spear Guide)

The Nornir Chest in The Forge is unique because it cannot be opened during your first visit to Svartalfheim. This guide shows you how to unlock it using the Draupnir Spear to detonating all three runic totems simultaneously.

Note: You must have progressed the main story far enough to obtain the Spear before you can solve this puzzle!

Location: Found shortly after riding the train up to The Forge. It is located on the right-hand side of the main path, nestled against the cliffside.

The Solution:

Totem 1: Located on the rocks directly behind the chest.

Totem 2: Located further back on the cliffside, to the left of the chest.

Totem 3: Located high up on a rock pillar in the distance, overlooking the valley.

The Method:
Throw a spear into each of the three runic totems. Once all three are embedded with a spear, press Triangle to detonate them all at once. If you try to break them one by one with the axe, they will reset—simultaneous detonation is the only way!
