AI can feel like it reads your mind.

But if the answer feels too easy, too familiar, and you instantly agree with it, maybe AI did not challenge you.

Maybe it only reflected your own thinking back in better words.

A real challenge often feels uncomfortable, because your brain has to look at a perspective outside your usual way of seeing the world.

That is where metacognition comes in: knowing when AI is reflecting you, and knowing how to ask for something different.
