How to Make A Deco Mesh Flower Wreath on a Dollar Tree Styrofoam Circle (Disc) by JKatsKreations

This is a tutorial for making a deco mesh flower wreath on a styrofoam circle from Dollar Tree. It was an idea I had in order to make a smaller and more lightweight version of my regular deco mesh flowers. This flower will be approximately 22 inches in diameter, and 3 1\2 to 4 inches deep which makes it great for hanging in between 2 doors. I will post more videos on using this new method as I make the different styles myself. :)

I would recommend using a tacky glue for your first one when trying this project. It will give you more time to get your pin placement right than hot glue does. As I said in the video, I had used tacky glue on a few of mine and it helped me practice getting the pins in (mostly for the 2 inner rows where they need to be angled). I found a "quick dry" version of Aleene's tacky glue that sets up a little faster while still giving plenty of time to adjust the pins. Full drying time is still long, probably at least 8 hours. Here's a link to it so you can see it. I'm sure it can be found at any local craft store or Walmart with the original Aleene's tacky glue.

1 Dollar Tree Styrofoam Circle (they are sold in a pack of 2 for $1)
Rotary Cutter
Cutting Mat
42 10x10 inch pieces of deco mesh
Ribbon rose for the center
Floral Pins
Felt
Hot Glue
Plastic Canvas
Scissors
Marker
Ruler

I used:
14 pieces of white mesh on the outer row
15 pieces of black and orange mesh on the 2nd row
13 pieces of black and orange mesh on the inner row
