Which Batteries Are the Best Sony A7 / NP-FW50 Akkus? The Result of This Test Was Not as I Expected

Buying third party batteries for cameras is never easy. Over the course of the past 3 month I bought 5 batteries for my Sony A7 II. I recently thought about buying some new batteries and looked at the pricing and there are some significant differences. So I decided to first test the batteries that i already have and check which holds the longest. In this video I am sharing my results - and it is not what I expected.

NP-FW50 Batteries / Chargers which are compatible with the Sony A7 lineup:

Camera: Sony A7 II
Lens: Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2.0
Recording Video with External Monitor (to see if the camera is still recording).
Autofocus with Face Tracking and me sitting / relaxing / working in front of the camera.
All settings stayed the same (camera was in Aperture Priority Movie Shooting Mode).
I charged all the batteries right before putting them into the camera.

Sony Original NP-FW50 (1080mAh 7.3Wh): 1 hour 17 minutes
Platon NP-FW50 Compatible (950mAh 6.8Wh): 1 hour 48 minutes
Other NP-FW50 Compatible (1200mAh 8.9Wh): 1 hour 40 minutes
