The Rover SD1 is NEARLY DONE! - Exhaust Fix 2600S Project Part 17

In this video we replace the exhaust on the Rover SD1 project another part of it's restoration/recommissioning, which gets it closer to the road after 17 years of being sat in a yard.

Now that the car runs, starts, stops, goes it’s only a matter of time before we get this beast back on the road again.

History;

The Rover SD1 is both the code name and eventual production name given to a series of executive cars built by the Specialist Division (later the Jaguar-Rover-Triumph division) of British Leyland (BL), under the Rover marque. It was produced through its Specialist, Rover Triumph and Austin Rover divisions from 1976 until 1986, when it was replaced by the Rover 800. The SD1 was marketed under various names. In 1977 it won the European Car of the Year title.

The Rover SD1 came with several engines, a 2000 4 cylinder, 2300 and 2600 inline 6 units, a 4 cylinder 2400TD turbo diesel and the venerable 3500 V8.
