Apache Airflow is the defacto standard in data orchestration - with over 12M monthly downloads, Airflow is used by teams of all shapes and sizes to move data across systems. Its popularity among data teams often results in data engineers building abstractions around Airflow to empower data scientists, analysts, and more. These tools built around Airflow often make it easy for folks not as familiar with Airflow syntax or Python to write production quality workloads.
This talk will go through an introduction to Airflow and discuss some of the different ways this has been done in the community, and discuss AstroSDK, an OSS project spearheaded by Astronomer.

The 5th annual Python Web Conf (#PWC2023) inspired attendees to use technology for good. The conference attracted 315 attendees from over 30 countries across 15 time zones. The highly engaging format featured 70 speakers, 5 tracks (including 64 talks and 5 tutorials) and took place virtually on March 13-17, 2023 on LoudSwarm by Six Feet Up.
