Introversion and shyness are often considered to be the same, but you know what, it is not valid. The truth is that a good number of introverts are shy, maybe it's because they lack experience in society, but surely, not all shy people are introverts. Shyness is the fear of people in which usually brought about by social insecurity or social anxiety. Some people tend to lose their minds or comportment when they see others, especially when they believe that those people are better. It makes them feel so anxious.

On the other hand, introverts are people who get drained by staying with a lot of people. Which means, they are fine by being around people, but they may feel drained quickly and need to spend some alone time afterwards. They feel refreshed and recharged when they are alone. So, introversion and shyness are two different things, okay.

Introverts are not afraid of interacting with people, especially when it's something of great importance. The truth is that introverts dislike small talks. They might not even want to say anything anymore when small talk is going any longer without further development. However, when it is a discussion pivotal to their goal, you might barely have a few times to contribute or err your opinion because the introvert will make all the suggestions, bring the solutions, and so on.
