Garfield, Odie and Dingbang have been kidnapped by Voldo with the help of Bella's horrible Siamese cats. Bella rejoices at having the Golden Cat as it is the key to the treasure of Fucanglong, the guardian of the most valuable diamond enabling her to have the Bella Bellissima Concert Hall built. But when Voldo scans the statue, he cannot find any map and...Dingbang, Garfield, Odie and Nermal manage to escape -with the statue!- by throwing themselves out of the window and getting down from the 50th floor on a window-cleaning platform. Bella and her gang are soon chasing them. This is the beginning of a hair-rising tricycle ride in the busy streets of Shanghai. Fortunately, Garfield finds out some durians -spiky smelly fruit- that they shoot at Bella's face. Their ennemies end up in a dumpster! Eventually back to the restaurant, the moonlight suddenly hits the statue's jewel eyes and project a 2D image of a tiger head on the pavement with a riddle that sends them to the ancient Gardens of Suzhou where they find one half of a medallion. But the other half is guarded by the old master of the Temple on Mount Qingshan and the Siamese cats have been following our friends...
