Manute Bol Primary School serves 650 students in Turalei, South Sudan, hometown of the late basketball legend. Of those students, 117 have lost one or both parents in war and over 100 are refugees. Each student receives a school lunch, textbooks, and access to clean water at the school. Teachers have worked hard to prepare students academically, and last year 36/37 students passed the 8th grade state test.
