Netflix Singapore Street Food Tour

For our first episode as full time travelers we bring you a special episode from Singapore. We went around trying all the food that were featured on the Netflix street food episode.

First up we head to Famous Cantonese Chicken Rice aka Sin Kee Famous Cantonese Chicken Rice. Chicken rice is one of the national dishes of Singapore and we were a little confused about where this place was since there were a whole bunch of stores with similar names but the one you need to visit is located on:

Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 11am–6pm

Another dish you have to experience while in Singapore is Chilli Crab. We go to an absolutely legendary spot and meet the family behind the flavours. Keng Eng Kee Seafood aka KEK Seafood.

Hours: Monday - Sunday 11:30am–2:30pm, 5–10pm

For our next stop we headed to a place owned by Aisha Hashim. The story of Aisha captivated us. She brought her struggling family business back from the brink of closing down and grew it into what it is today - creating and serving tasty putu piring in 6 different branches! The one we visited was none other than:
Traditional Haig Road Putu Piring

Hours: Monday - Sunday 10:45am–10pm

For the final stop, unfortunately Master Tang passed away so we weren't able to try his legendary wan tan mee however Yen's sister recommended a spot for us to try in its place and it did not disappoint.
