PA Late Season Flintlock Hunting

After a tough archery season in Lycoming County (2G) in Pennsylvania hunting public ground, I had unfilled tags to fill. I was determined at pushing deep onto state game lands and state forest to harvest a buck with my flintlock. Although I ended the season with an unfilled buck tag, I was blessed to harvest two does with my flintlock in the late season. I'm using a Traditions 50 cal with patch and ball. My first shot was just over 40 yards with a 50 yard recovery. My second shot was 30 yards, off hand and a 70 yard recovery.
