Testing DLSS Using 3DMark On Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070Ti (Notebook) | MSI Vector A18 HX A9W Laptop

Nvidia DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a technology that uses deep learning neural networks and Tensor Cores on RTX GPUs to boost frame rates (FPS) while maintaining image quality and game responsiveness. Instead of rendering every frame at full native resolution (which is heavy on the GPU), the game is rendered at a lower resolution. Nvidia’s AI model "DLSS Super Resolution" then upscales the image in real time to look like or even better than native resolution. Then, DLSS Frame Generation and DLSS Multi Frame Generation (DLSS4) use AI to increase frame rates by generating additional high-quality frames while optimizing responsiveness with Nvidia Reflex. This improves FPS (frames per second) without a huge drop in image quality. Frame Generation requires a GeForce RTX 40-series GPU or later; Multi Frame Generation requires a GeForce RTX 50-series. DLSS Super Resolution uses AI to boost frame rates by reconstructing higher-resolution frames while retaining near-native image quality. It is available for all RTX GPUs.
In this video, we are testing the DLSS feature using 3DMark software. Our machine is an MSI Vector A18 HX A9W, which has an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070Ti discrete notebook GPU. The test will give some brief idea of how DLSS works on the GPU. Since the tests are done using a testing software (3DMark), the results are ideal. In real gameplay, depending on the games, the performance results can be different. But DLSS works in the same way in all cases. Note that we are not doing benchmarking of hardware; we are just testing the DLSS feature on our GPU.
