Drink-driving suspect in fatal Klang crash arrives in court under heavy escort

The suspect in a fatal drink-driving incident on Jalan Raya Barat appeared in court here today to face charges over the crash.

The man, in his 20s, was escorted from the South Klang police station under tight security by officers from the Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department.

Handcuffed, he arrived at the court complex and is expected to be charged before magistrate A. Karthiyayini.

He was brought to court a day before his four-day remand was due to expire.
