Chicago00: The 1968 DNC Protests creates a virtual reality experience of the protests surrounding the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Historical film and photos of protests, police actions, and ensuing chaos in Grant Park on August 28th, 1968 are overlaid on contemporary VR photography of the sites. A narration by Dr. David Farber, author of "Chicago '68," leads the viewer through the historical context and events of that day.

About the Chicago 00 project:

Chicago00 is a partnership between the Chicago History Museum and filmmaker Geoffrey Alan Rhodes to produce and publish a series of site-specific, multimedia experiences that showcase the Museum’s film, photo, and sound archive.
