1.5 Degree Lifestyles Report: Targets and Actions for Reducing Lifestyle Carbon Footprints

Ryu Koide, from the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (Japan), spoke on 5 October 2019, as part of the event "Lighter Living: Better Everyday Lives for People and the Planet" in Vancouver at Simon Fraser University.

The evening was a chance to explore how to mainstream environmental sustainability into our daily lives, here in the region. Speakers shared the possibility space around sustainable lifestyles. They also revealed the magnitude and urgency of changes needed. We engaged in a conversation with fellow participants to identify commitments and actions on lighter living.
