In this video, I explain the difference between a wedding shower and a bridal shower. These two terms are often confused, but essentially, the difference comes down to who is attending! A "wedding shower" probably makes the most sense (more and more) for modern showers, while the term "bridal shower" is a bit more traditional. The term "bridal shower" won't be applicable for all showers so "wedding shower" is generally more applicable for more couples. Additionally, more and more couples are choosing to attend the shower these days, while in the past, it would be only the bride (even though often the gifts were for both members of the couple).
