Ozark Mountain Daredevils History 1999

In 1999, the Ozark Mountain Daredevils marked 25 years together as a country rock roots band. In the 1970's, the Daredevils had a big hit with their song 'Jackie Blue' which got the attention of the same record company that produced The Eagles. The Daredevils toured with the Eagles in the summer of 1975. Twenty five years later, members of the band talk about resisting the pressure from their record company to produce more songs like 'Jackie Blue' and how they made the lifestyle decision to remain in the Ozarks, true to their families and roots.
