In this episode, John discusses his recent climb of Lobuche Peak East, with a spectacular sunrise view of Mount Everest! The climb, which took place on the 19th and 20th of May, overlapped the tragic overcrowding on Everest that filled news headlines in later May and June.
For those interested in climbing in the Nepal/Himalaya region, John reveals everything from how long it takes to get to Lobuche (and Everest Base Camp) to how the 6,100+ meter altitude affected his body and mind.
