How to create a virtual host using Wamp Server?

How to create virtual host for new project?

Apache creating Virtual Host.

Wamp server creating virtual host on localhost.

We will create a virtual host for Laravel website.

It is very easy to create virtual host in windows.

This video is only for the window7 user.

Step 1: goto wamp/bin/apache/apacheversion/conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

Now edit httpd-vhosts.conf file. and we ware done here

Step 2: Now goto

c:/windows-/system32/drivers/etc

now edit hosts file here and make new entry for your new website.

now we have to put here the ServerName what we have entered in our virtual
host file. copy this and paste inside the hosts file.

Now save the file you can choose any other server name as well like.

we are done here.

now run the project on browser.

Note: First Restart your wamp server. then run

learnlaravel.local in the browser.

We are done here
