What are the Basic Requirements to become a Police Officer in Canada?

1. You must be at least 19 years old.
2. You must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident Of Canada.
3. You must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent to join the Canadian Police Forces.
4. You must also have a clean record. You cannot have a criminal conviction or pending conviction on your record.
5. You must also have Driving License to Drive to be a Police Officer.
6. You must be in good health, shape and have to passes physical tests to be a part of the Police Force. (like swimming and running tests)
7. You have to get certification in CPR and First Aid.
