Harvey native Zaila Avant-Garde is showing off her talent both on the court and on the stage of the National Spelling Bee in Florida.

She won the Scripps National Spelling Bee and she is also accomplished at dribbling a basketball She holds 5 Guinness World Records. Oh, she also can ride a unicycle.

Zaila Avant-garde is a definite star in the making, if she isn't already one.
