Finishing a Painting of a Tree in the Swamp at Corkscrew Audubon Sanctuary

I began this painting several weeks ago. The tree in the swamp is in an open area, exposed to the elements. Thankfully, I was able to find some shade in the corner of the boardwalk. Every time I came back, it was raining. Finally, today it was sunny. New to the scene were brilliant red Swamp Hibiscus dotting the landscape, which I added in my final touches as I finished the painting.
