Weekly Update - Vancouver Real Estate Market - Week 16 - April 11th - April 17th, 2021

What do you need to know about the last week in Vancouver real estate (Week 16 - ending April 17th, 2021)?

We remain in a very strong seller's market with demand holding steady while supply edges higher.

Sales held steady (328 down slightly from 329 the week before). New listings increased to 599 (from 550 the previous week) and overall active listings reached 3,350 (well below the 10-yr avg).

This is fairly typical for a strong market at this time of year. We normally see the active listings peak in May/June...so I expect this trend to continue in the coming weeks.

Almost every micro-market showed strength over the last week, but there are a couple that saw some slight softening. Check out the video, or the blog post (link in comments) for those details.
