[Workaround] Samsung Band Selection - New Method Making use of System Shell Exploit

As you all are aware, Samsung removed public access to the Band Selection screen from their June 2022 firmware update and broke the app's main feature, which is to unlock the hidden network settings screen. The most reliable workaround thus far has been to use the 2263 menu - however, this menu is not accessible on all phones and is more difficult to use than the previous hidden menu.

However, thanks to a new vulnerability affecting practically all Samsung phones discovered by XDA developer K0mraid3 it is now possible to manually load the hidden band selection screen and keep it in your recent apps screen practically forever.

How to (easier way)
Introducing Samsung Toolkit which lets you Launch Band Selection on the latest Samsung phones without a PC or cable!

How to (original)
Obtain access to a Windows PC (for the "easy way") with an available USB port + USB C cable

Make sure you have ADB access enabled on your phone (ADB on PC is optional for the "easy way")

Follow instructions under "The Easy Way" in the System Shell Exploit thread to obtain a System Shell

In the System Shell, run the following command,

am start com.samsung.android.app.telephonyui/.hiddennetworksetting.MainActivity
5. Open the Recent Apps menu and tap on the icon for the band selection screen and click "Keep Open"

Now you can restart your phone or do whatever you'd like, and the Band Selection screen will stay open, even after you close the System Shell. In other words the Band Selection screen will persist through reboots.
