Kajabi Review for Course Creators: How to Decide if It's for YOU
In this Kajabi Review, we're gonna determine if it's worth the upgrade or is it just selling you the look of a serious course platform?
I’m Dr. Catrina Mitchum, a learning designer and recovering academic that helps course creators craft courses like they give a sh*t by focusing on learning science based course design and course accessibility as foundations for client success so you can be successful, too.
Here's the short answer: Kajabi gets a conditional pass on activity tracking (with a clunky quiz workaround), but it flat-out fails on individualized student pathways and reduces student engagement through unnecessary friction. Oh — and the accessibility issues? Those are platform-level. You can't fix them.
The bottom line: If your course functions as a content repository in your business, Kajabi might be a solid fit. But if you're selling transformation — actual, measurable change — it might not be worth all the bells and whistles. In this video:
✅ Kajabi course setup: evergreen vs. cohort options
✅ Can Kajabi track activity beyond video completion?
✅ Do student pathways actually lock down the learning journey?
✅ Friction audit: how many clicks does it take to get students to "do the thing"?
✅ Accessibility scan using Successible
✅ My final verdict and who Kajabi IS the right fit for
