I have learned to make these completely by trial and error. This design was actually made by my client Squirrel Squasher. He drew me a picture of what he wanted and we talked about the dimensions a bit and then I got to work on it. I kept him informed and supplied him with pictures through the entire process and he, being a master craftsmen himself helped me to realize his vision. As I said in the video, he was actually the one who came up with the penny idea that worked (for the most part) flawlessly. It at least allowed me to make slingshots like this, until I made a better jig for doing the slits. So thank you for your idea and your help and I really hope you enjoy your handmade metal slingshot!
