Our new autopilot has arrived! And every single piece of it presents a problem to address, parts to modify, and pieces to customize, making this our most complex, involved, biggest boat project we've taken on in 3 years living aboard.

Simrad NAC-3 autopilot computer
Simrad RF25 rudder sensing unit
Simrad Precusion-9 solid state compass
Garmin class B hydraulic auto pilot ram

*Note: we ended up tossing the old hydraulic ram, as it became more and more evident that that was to blame for our malfunctions, but everything else from the old system is ready to connect to the new ram should we need to, for any reason.
