Muslims in Bosnia celebrate religious holiday of Eid

(1 Sep 2017) Bosnia and Herzegovina's Muslim community marked Eid al-Adha on Friday by attending prayers.
Eid al-Adha, which means "the Feast of the Sacrifice", is one of the two most important holidays in the Muslim calendar.
The holiday marks what Muslims believe is Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his own son as an act of obedience to God.
At the last minute, they believe, God intervened, and gave Ibrahim a ram to sacrifice instead.
Traditionally, Muslims sacrifice an animal on Eid and share the meat with their families, neighbours, and people less fortunate than themselves.
