Combine Data From Multiple Cells into One Cell (Create ID Number in Excel)

HOW TO COMBINE DATA FROM MULTIPLE CELLS INTO ONE CELL IN EXCEL (USE OF AMPERSAND IN EXCEL) // Did you know you can use the ampersand (&) calculation operator to join text items instead of using the Concatenate function? In many cases, it is simpler to use the ampersand. This video demonstrates how to create a new Position ID Number by stringing a few relevant columns of data together.

Here is how the "&" operator works:
=A2&B2&C2 (This will give you a result of combining the text in cells A2, B2 and C2 without spaces). This would be the same result if you used the Concatenate function =Concatenate(A2,B2,C2)
