পাতাল গঙ্গা দর্শন করলাম, সত্যি যেন পাতিলেই নেমে যেতে হবে দেবীর দর্শন করতে। শ্রীসৈলমে জ্যোতিরিলিঙ্গ দর্শনের আগে মানুষ এই পাতাল গঙ্গায় ডুব দিয়ে নেন। শ্রীসৈলম মূলত একটি পার্বত্য অরণ্য এই অঞ্চল দিয়ে প্রাবাহিত হন কৃষ্ণা নদী যিনি এই সমগ্র অঞ্চল কে জল প্রদান করে শস্য শ্যামলা করে রেখেছেন তাই এখানকার মানুষ কৃষ্ণা নদীকেই মা গঙ্গা রুপে পুজো করেন ।
এই পাতাল গঙ্গা দর্শনে গিয়ে প্রচুর মানুষের সংশ্পর্ষে এসেছিলাম , পোঙ্গাল অর্থাৎ মকর সংক্রান্তি কিভাবে তাঁরা পালন করে দেখেছিলাম । ভারতবর্ষ টাকে নতুন করে চিনছি ।
Patal Ganga darshan. Srisailam is situated in Nallamala forest, Krishna river flows through this area and it’s the main source of water supply, therefore the locals worship Krishna river as Maa Ganga.
Devotees who comes for Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga darshan they take dips in the river first and then visit temple. Srisailam Dam now became a tourist spot here in Srisailam. Patal Ganga Srisailam has more than 500 steps. It took us 45 min to go there. While reaching the site we interacted with locals, and took part with them to celebrate Pongal one of the main festival in Andhra Pradesh.
