What is a Hybrid Athlete

The hybrid athlete combines strength and endurance to push the limits of their fitness capabilities.

You could say that hybrid training is taking two different styles of training that do not necessarily help each other.
For example, training to deadlift 500lbs does not help someone run a marathon and vice versa. But a hybrid athlete would train these contradicting styles and put them together.
