TEN 텐 'Nightwalker' MV REACTION

He really took it to heart to create a concept that would deliver on many different levels! Not gonna lie, I don't love ll of these aspects but when it comes to the artistic execution and creativity, this hits the mark for sure. One thing that really helped me enjoy this was to add my own interpretation on the concept: the double personality of a crazy scientist like Dr. Jekyll & Hide, him being a scientist whose project turned against him also reminded me of Harley Quinn, him finally embracing the darkness of his other personality also got me thinking of Venom for ex. In short, I absolutely loved the execution and how the double personas were represented in the song with the verses being the calm before the storm aka the chorus. The nightmarish and hectic feeling of the song also plays really well into the concept and the fact that the verses and chorus, bridges etc feel so different from one another feel very Frankenstein/patchwork, which again, goes brilliantly with the concept. So my brain LOVES the concept! The song though? Even though I want to love it, I’m not quite vibing with it right now. I love parts of it, the “holier” parts sound incredible but I can’t seem to get into the chorus. That said, I have to applaud Ten for showing yet another facet of him. And I think that speak very strongly on his artistry because he is able to reinvent himself again and again without loosing who he is!
