The power-to-weight ratio was unlike anything available in America at that price. CSX2000 — the very first Cobra ever built — was auctioned at the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson sale in 2016. Final price — $13.75 million. The car built on credit in a rented garage for $75,000 sold for thirteen million dollars fifty-four years later.
