The Story of Thompson's Beach-DESTINATION ANYWHERE
On this episode of Destination Anywhere, we’re going to explore the story of Thompson’s Beach. Located in Cumberland County, NJ, Thompson’s Beach was once a thriving beach community during the middle to late 20th century. Sadly, after a series of battles with Mother Nature, Thompson’s Beach was eventually abandoned and now there are just a few piles of rubble that serve as a reminder of its glory days. In this short video, we'll talk to a few people that remember the way Thompson’s Beach was back then and also visit what’s left today. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Mickey Shuffle on Youtube for more history, mysteries and other fun stuff from the Garden State.
