Swat Motorway | M16 | M1 - Chakdara section

Swat motorway was completed back in May 2019. This motorway is a big breakthrough in trade and tourism industry of Pakistan and tourism in Swat and associated areas will flourish in coming years. After completion of Bahrain to Kalam road (completed in December 2019), tourists should now turn steering towards Swat and explore the beauty of this region including many hidden valleys.
Around 8 km part of this motorway is under construction that includes three tunnels. One tunnel is complete while rest of the two yet to be completed. Alternate 8 km road is also good in shape rather i would say, its far better than the GT road that leads to Chakdara because many cities like Takht bhai, Dargai and Batkhela are now bypassed.
