Something in thte Way" is a song by Nirvana first released on their 1991 album "Nevermind". In his recent interview to Guitar World, Krist named "Something In The Way" as one of his favorite Nirvana basslines:

"I like the bass I do on ‘Something In The Way’, the way I march up and down that scale. It’s only four or five notes, but the whole point of ‘Something In The Way’ is not to get in the way.”

The "MTV Unplugged" perfomance was the last time the band played the tune live.
