Backpacking Mexico - A Couple of Travellers Episode 15

This is it, the final episode of A Couple of Travellers season 1! Andy & Steph arrive in Mexico for the final leg of their trip.

Beginning with a bike ride to some spooky cenotes, they find underwater caverns and some friendly little turtles in Tulum. The couple then have some relaxation time on Isla Mujeres before surprising Andy’s parents in Playa del Carmen. They take the old folks out for a big night in Coco Bongos before heading across to Isla Cozumel for a snorkel trip.

Moving on they sample some street food in Merida and explore the ancient ruins of Palenque. They visit a wildlife conservation park called Aluxes and feed manatees before meeting up with some familiar faces in Oaxaca City. Eating crickets, exploring markets and finding some beautiful blue pools are just the beginning of the fun.

Puerto Escondido provides the group with a unique turtle liberation experience, releasing babies into the ocean. They then get a taste of the best taco in Mexico made by the famous local chef Pepe.

The Mexican adventures are rounded off with a hungover boat ride in San Cristobal and the magical sandbar beaches of Isla Holbox.
