- No uranium enrichment required
- Fuel flexibility
- Passive fuel draining on SCRAM
- No chemical fuel processing unit
- Double lead pool design
- No lead enrichment
- No chlorine enrichment
- Passive cooling via natural circulation when in shutdown mode
- Multiple passive shutdown mechanisms
- Passive in-vessel continuous refueling
- Passive degassing system
- Transportable by truck and by air

Characteristics:
- 4 meters diameter and 8 meters high
- Core size : 230 cm diameter, and 160 cm high
- Fuel composition : UCl3, PuCl3, NaCl
- Core-inlet temperature 700C
- Core-outlet temperature 750C
- Refractory metal core
- Thermal capacity : 50-300 MWth, flexible
