In this lockdown, a lot of women have asked me on tips and ideas on how to make their Husband's birthday party special. So here is a gift for your husband during the lockdown.

Lately, a lot of women have asked me for ideas on how to make their husband’s birthday special during this lockdown.

So here are my tips

My idea is to make the entire day special for him.
So something extraordinary is happening throughout the day

Start with the mornings as soon he wakes up


1. Do this on your washroom mirror.
You can do this paint or lipstick or simply cut and stick heart-shaped papers.
This will bring him a morning smile.


2. Breakfast in Bed
Serve him a beautiful breakfast platter in bed like this …
This looks difficult but you need to go a little out of your way to make this day special. Keep his likes in mind and design your own platter.


3. Special walkway
Create a special walkway outside your room, so when he steps out he can have an aisle to walk on. It can be with either joining chart papers or spreading flower petals or simple paper hearts stuck on the floor. You can also write your lovely messages on these.


4. Lunch
Since breakfast was heavy and the dinner is going to be heavy too you can go easy on this one. Just make a meal he would relish.


5. Game Time
I’m sure most of the husbands are fond of sports.
Play with him his favorite board game, card game, or a video game. In case this is not of your interest let him have his own time with sports.



6. Movie Time (in the afternoon or an early evening)
Make a movie ticket by hand or design it for WhatsApp and give it to him
The ticket mentions his name, the movie time, his favorite movie that you’ll watch, theatre can be the living room, seat No. will be his age.
You can also make tickets for the family in case they are going to join in too.

Now you need to set this all up, make the room dark.
Spread mattresses and pillows and create a den.
Make a movie time tray for him like this and enjoy the movie together.



7. Dance Party
Create a dance party ambiance at home.
Make a playlist in advance of all party songs and have a full-on dance gig.
You can invite his friends too at this dance party on a video call.


8. Cake cutting can happen at this disco. Throw some confetti when he cuts the cake and do not forget to give him birthday bumps or kisses.


9. Dinner Date
In the morning give him a dinner menu card and ask him to select and tick all that he would like to eat from that so that you can prepare all of it for his special dinner. Make the menu interesting starting from appetizers to the main course to desserts and you can also make a special Bar menu.

Then…
Create a tent like this for him with candles and ferry lights and enjoy your lovely candlelight dinner together.
OR
Set up a dinner table like this and host a family gala dinner.


10. Gift him these Special Birthday Coupons that he can use as a relief for the entire week.
Like,
Breakfast in bed
, coffee delivery from the kitchen
Dinner of his choice
Pub night with friends (in the future)
, no dishes today
, he gets the Remote
, he wins this argument
He can wake up late
and more or any of your choice.
