ADALBERTO SANTIAGO sings EL JAMAIQUINO one of their big hits. TIPICA 73' was a group of musicians that really started the band in 1972. Among them we have; the band leader,Johnny "Dandy" Rodriguez , Sonny Bravo(piano) who later lead the band, Leopoldo Pineda (trombonist), Nelson Gonzalez(tres),Mario Rivera (Sax), Nicky Marrero (percussion), Rene Lopez (trumpet),Oreste Vilato(percussion), Dave Perez (bass), Adalberto Santiago (vocalist), Frankie Dante (pianist), Joe Manozi (trumpeter), and others that later join when somebody left. These artists came from different bands at the time. This group lasted until 1995 or so. Yet people still buy their albums. Here we bring this group so the new generations taste the flavor of their sound. We honor this group through YOUTUBE. The video show a few of these great musicians of the 1970's.
