Beware: Motivational Speakers Ahead | Yadhav Mehra | TEDxTheShriRamSchool
Motivators everywhere, but not enough motivation. Why is that so? This talk brilliantly explores the reasons behind the knowing-doing gap and why cliched wisdom may be silently damaging people's self-confidence. Mr. Yadhav Mehra is a facilitator and has been a coach in the field of personal effectiveness and leadership for over two decades. He has worked with over 15000 people in 75 organizations across various industries and sectors and has trained people from over 25 nationalities. He has contributed to several organizations and institutions by helping their people and teams in improving their life skills like leadership, emotional well-being, communication, group dynamics and selection skills.
Mr. Mehra is a business school graduate from FMS (Faculty of Management Studies). After working for companies like World Bank, The Times of India and Gap, to name a few, he found meaning in coaching and facilitating. His discovery of his ‘swadharma’ (a place where one’s signature strengths meet one’s vocation) entailed several small failed businesses. He contributes value by helping people experience what it takes to become more proficient in complex competencies and is known for helping people bridge the knowing-doing gap. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
