Ben Tune - The Red Rocket

Ben Tune was one of those hard, straight running wings who was fearless on attach. He burst onto the international scene in 1996 as a 19 year old and immediately made an impact for the Wallabies. In the late 90's he was their man and a more than suitable replacement for the great David Campese who retired in 1996.

Tune was one of the stars at the 1999 RWC and scored a great try in the final.

Unfortunately, injuries prevented Ben Tune from consistently being included in the Wallabies side and pretty much stopped playing around 2002, although he did make a brief comeback in 2006.

He will be remembered for his straight running which enabled him to score some fantastic tries. Here are just a couple of them.
