Target audience: the videos are created with Greek language learners in mind. People in search for free listening materials that are both entertaining and informative. Intermediate and advanced speakers can understand Helinika’s Greek speaking stories much easier than beginners. How learning Greek by listening to stories works: all stories are narrated in a way that allows the listener to immerse himself/herself in the Greek language. Repetition is used to help learners memorize new words and better understand their meaning. Sentences are short and clear. All stories include references to the Greek culture, therefore, listeners are able to immerse themselves in the Greek culture as well. Beginners may find it difficult to understand certain words or phrases.

Stories that are based on old myths, fairytales, legends, and folktales can be retold by other creators.
