Mock the Week: The Best of Incredibly Obvious Answers to Picture of the Week
(Various Episodes from Series' 13 to 16)
Around Series 11 of Mock the Week, the producers decided to phase out the popular 'Headliners' round, due to the difficulty to come up with funny ways of spelling out an acronym every week. In its place came a new round, Picture of the Week, prompted by host Dara O'Briain asking the panelists 'what is going on here?' However, since most playings feature simply a photo of someone in the news, the 'actual correct answer' will lead to someone (usually Hugh Dennis) giving a very commonplace, obvious answer to the jokingly-difficult question.
So, in place of a round where panelists give funny acronyms...we've devolved to Hugh Dennis saying 'THAT......is Jeremy Corbyn'. Well, at least it's funny if you string it together in a supercut.
