In this video I break down how I like to build the foundation for the French Ring protection exercise, Defense Of Handler. My pup is about 5.5 months old in this video, but a puppy/ dog of any age can be trained using these techniques. Keep in mind there are a million ways to start/ train this exercise and there is not necessarily a right way or wrong way. I find that since most people in the U.S. don't have constant access to world class training decoys, this method is effective to start on your own at home and build the basic mechanics.
