Create Halftones In Inkscape Easily Without Cloning

In this video you will see how to produce a halftone image in Inkscape that does not require you to clone any circles. You will need to do some preparatory work in Gimp but not much.

As you will see this method is much simpler save for the fact that you are using two programs as opposed to one. It is also less taxing on your PC than the clone method.
