Hybrid T62/150TP Turbo Prop Engine (shaft power jet engine)
Single Shaft 150SHP and 100SHP Turbo Prop Engines. A completely self contained Turbine Engine, with Starter, Alternator, Speed Switch and Tach Generator. Dry weight w/PSRU (Prop Speed Reduction Unit), Prop Hub and Prop Blades is 111 lbs. Propeller is a 60", 3-Blade Controllable Pitch Composite Prop.
Both throttle and prop pitch controls are manual. T62/150TP 100% RPM = 2840; T62/100TP 100% RPM = 2800. RPM is governed by a mechanical, hydro-pneumatic FCU (Fuel Control Unit) to remain at 100%. Flight Idle RPM is governed to approx 62~64%. Power (load) is controlled solely by prop pitch.
While RPM remains at a constant 100%, power is fully controllable from near 0% to 100%. The prop pitch range is accurately set to cover the entire load/power range. Beta (reverse pitch) is possible through additional pitch range end stop adjustments.
Fuel burn: T62/150TP = 14 to 18GPH; T62/100TP = 10 to 14GPH
